Netcare Medical Scheme has been developed as a flexible and efficient alternative to the traditional medical scheme. Members’ annual contribution increases are kept as low as possible through special management programmes, and the control members exercise via their medical savings account.

The Netcare Medical Scheme consists of one option available to all Netcare employees which is made up of two parts as follows:

(1) An insured portion which pays for high-cost medical expenses; and
(2) A COMPULSORY Member Savings Account which covers everyday medical expenses set at 15% of your contribution.
